More information on The Trumblies books:

These stories are particularly suitable for the Early Years Foundation Stage, ages 3-5.  The books are helpful to early readers and incorporate short, simple sentences which can be accompanied by lots of actions. The soft toys and musical toys can be used to illustrate the stories..

The stories about the musical characters, the Trumblies, can be an encouragement to young children to enjoy music and pick up a musical instrument.

Description of books:

First book, "The Trumblies": Sam is playing his toy trumpet and suddenly he's surprised as something comes out of the end of the trumpet. It's the Trumblies! These funny, musical note-shaped characters start jumping around on the floor and Sam begins to make friends with them. Then something happens which leaves Sam bewildered - but it all ends on a happy note!
The second Trumblies book, "Watch out for the Trumblies", continues the story and introduces Sam's brother and sister.
In the third Trumblies book, "What's Happened to the Trumblies?",  Sam wakes up feeling grumpy and then wonders why some grumpy Trumblies appear.  Eventually music solves the problem.
